where's the squeal comming from?
I have a squeal in my 70 BB, a/c,ps. I figured it is either the water pump, fan clutch, ps pump or water pump/ps/crank belt. I removed the altinator and a/c belts to elimate those potential causes. It starts to squeal at 2500 rpm. I have tried belt dressing without success.
What is the most probable cause . How can I tell for sure where it is comming from?

Spray a little WD-40 on the belts as they spin (some folks use dish soap...). If the sound changes not one bit, think mechnical - water bearing, PS pump.
