The construction is the same one is Aluminzed with a one year warranty and the Stainless has a Lifetime warranty and is 20 bucks more or so

There shouldn't be a problem to weld Aluminzed pipe to a S/S muffler?

I recomend clamping rather than welding. Especially with stainless. The heat from the weld will ruin the stainless qualities and thats where it will eventually fail. Ive had many of aluminized systems put on different vehicles in the past. The aluminized pipes themselves will also last almost forever. They always break right where therye welded. If you clamp it togeather and use stainless clamps, now that will last forever.
