Default Armrest needs a fix

My armrest is cracked 2/3 through. I would like to mend it before it breaks. Any recommendations for glue or epoxy?

Glue-on caps are available from most suppliers that will cover those cracks and make the door panels look quite presentable. I am planning on using these on mine, they need to be ordered in matching colors to your interior, I see there are some black ones in the C3 parts forum right now for $20.00

Hey Brian,
1980, you must be talking about the removable armrest/pullhandle that screws onto the door panel? It's very common for these to break at the pull handle area, and there's really no good fix for them. Replacement is the only way to go. Mid America lists them for $120 a pair. If you want to save a few bucks (and who doesn't) try Corvette America and ask about their NQP (not quite perfect) items. I've used a lot of NQP parts and usually can't spot the flaw. Savings of up to 50 pecent or more. A good used one might be hard to find but should be very affordable.
Good luck, Greg
