For sure! Its so close to home.

I thought that blue corvette driving down Butterfield in the morining looked familiar.

I think I am going to drive part way down to Bowling Green with the caravan out of Indy and then peel off and go to Bloomington Gold. It is really stupid that they are the same weekend. I can see why GM is doing it that week but you would have thought Bloomington Gold would have switched weekends for the year. It has to drastically hurt their attendance of Vettes as there is a ton of folks heading to KY! I figure it'll be the world's largest traffic jam anywhere within 50 miles of Bowling Green. Tough choice though.

I had thought about the Nashville show but am highly concerned that it will be one big Chevy new car sales event. Also could not believe that Chevy would schedule their show on top of the Bloomington show like that. Bloomington had been the last full weekend of June for years, that weekend belongs to them. I can somewhat see why Chevy wanted that weekend but the true birthday does not fall on that weekend, it is the next week, so why could not Chevy use the following weekend. Would have been just as good since they are not doing anything on "the day".

I'm leaving work early on Friday to attend.
I'll have to fight the downtown Chicago traffic to St. Charles but that's O.K.
Bummer is, I don't drive the Vette to downtown (too much crap: pot holes, bad drivers, etc... to attend with) so I'll be in my regular car.
People will think I'm a Vette owner "Wanna be"
