Default Next year at CI.

I want to see more C3's. I drove the C4 but only saw a few C3's. I am planning on taking the 78 next year and hope that more of you will come with me.

I was there. And I felt the same. I thought there would be a whole lot more of us. But :nonod:

Frankly, there weren't many C-4's either. And I think I saw three midyears. That's it.

Had truly planned for mine to be there, but just could not find the time to get it road worthy...

Next year for sure. (Maybe for the 50th party - we'll see)

There are a lot of guys with C3's who go. The problem is a lot of guys with C3's also own C5's and guess which one they pick for long trips...

If I EVER get finished with mine I will take it down there.

I felt like a tool with the rental car. I wish I would've just trailered it down. :leaving:

I completely agree with you. When we first arrived there were only 2 others. It looked like a few more came in. By Friday afternoon there was a reasonable number but more would be better. I'm sorry I didn't meet all of you. I was under the car all Friday evening and on in a futile attempt to get the car running again. I'll be there next year!

Hey Burners, was that you under the car with the oil pan pulled?
I saw quite a bit of metal in the pan.....I remember you said the rod bearings you had pulled looked o.k., did you ever find the source of the chunks in the pan? was a main bearing gone? What did you end up doing and how did you get back to Texas with your car? just wondering.....

Yeah we gotta get more old Vette's there. Mine just wasn't ready yet, but we did bring my buddy's '65 for it's first roadtrip. We broke a valvespring on the way up, but that was a freak deal. It cruised all the way home at 70-100 mph without a wimper.

C'mon...don't trailer 'em! Have the fun is driving them...that's what you built it for!!

I'll be there next year with mine for sure!

I've been hoping to finish mine, but always end up taking the 95 convertible. Maybe next year. Sure would be nice to get a good group of sharks together.
