I've got the Proform Shift Lite mounted on my steering column. Also, with tilt steering like you. GM made sure it was pretty hard to mount one of these things with the indicator & tilt steering lever being exactly opposite the ignition switch. I worked it out, but it does limit the upward movement of the steering wheel as the Lite gets in the way. I used some small rubber hose to cover the wires to make it look semi-clean and routed the wires through the firewall to the MSD box and grounded to the frame.
