Just wondering how many of you guys like to play paintball as I just got into it and love playing just about as much as I love to drive these cars! I great sport! :flag
I know that I would much rather drive my vette over playing paintball. Plus it I rather spend the money on the vette.
It really does not take that much money to play Paintball. I spent $140 for my Gun, tank, mask, and hopper. I bought a brand new Electronic gun so I could have gone a lot cheaper had I wanted to. Then I bought 2000 paintballs for $30 and I was ready to go! Still have a ton of paintballs left after I played at my home and at field for 2 hours of heavy combat! I know you can spend Thousands if you really want to but you dont have to.
I used to play A LOT until I got into cars. My paintball marker was a Shocker and I had around $1500 in it. I even used to have my own paintball store. I had wholesale accounts with National Paintball Supply, I&I Sports, Smart Parts.
I used to be pretty good but sold my equipment to start souping up my car. I kind of miss playing paintball with the guys but I love racing my car down the 1/4 mile.
What about potato guns? anybody into those? I made one out of about $25 of ABS pipe that will shoot a lemon a good 350-400yards. It's a blast and it's cheap (cause my buddy has a lemon orchard ;) )
Paintball is a ton of fun. I use to play all the time. The place i played was an indoor arena. It was really cool. The place has since gone out of buisnes. :cry now I don't have time to play as much as i want to with college and the vette taking alot of my time. Oh and work.
I play once a week. I got into it last year, it's really addicting. I bought a Tippmann Custom 98 with a 14" Custom Products barrel, a scope, and double trigger. I'd like to add some more stuff later, but right now the cash is going into the Vette. It's a great sport, though. We play outside in the woods- it's fun, and you get a LOT of excercise.
I used to play, but the innaccuracy of my gun angered me too much. I have no trouble spotting people, I can just never hit them. I have no trouble hitting a target with a real rifle, so it's not that I can't aim.
Paintball is ok... But I prefer Airsoft.. I like the realism of Airsoft and you can
get more "into" it than with Painball.. I guess it's for those of us want ta be
Gi Joes..
My son and I like to play once or twice a month. We have a lot of fun. We own our equipment but have to buy field paint at $80 for 2000k rounds. That lasts about 4-6 trips.

I was chasing a guy and wasn't very far from him and missied and he turned around and chased me and missed me too. I need like a shotgun paintball gun.
Paintball is alot of fun, especially if you play with friends. If you go to one of those public fields, just hope whoever your playing against doesn't have any kind of military background. Theyre impossible to beat...thank god! :D

Wow! I was quite impressed with the accuracy of my Spyder right out of the box! I could keep the paint in 1ft diameter target from 25 feet. Perhaps you guys needed to adjust the velocity on your guns or you just had some bad paint to have that much of a problem with the accuracy. I have used some rentals before that I was very dissapointed but I was told it may have been the paintballs I was using. some will have flat spots.
I have some woods behind my house and tommarow my friend and my brother who just bought some guns right after me we are going to go have a huge paintwar. I figured hey I worked on the Vette today so I will play some paintball tomorrow.
