Radiator Hoses
I am installing new factory type radiator hoses on my car tonight. I was wondering if there is anything to put on the water neck or radiator neck to keep the hoses from sticking like the old ones did. Maybe dishwashing liquid or some petroleum jelly is what I was thinking. Trying to make it like never seize.

Eddie,
This will sound a little strange but I use the Wife's extensive care hand lotion. It is not petroleum based as some lubes and thus will not degrade rubber with time.

Just slice old hoses with razor knife and pull right off. Not worth wrestling with sticking hose I plan to replace. :yesnod:
