Default Reccomend some reading material for me

Be it magazines to subscribe to, books to purchase or other websites even. I would like to get more knowledgeable about Vettes, not just C3's either. I have been looking for some collector type books and artwork but have not really seen anything that trips my trigger.
Thanks

It's not a Corvette book, but if you like drag racing I can heartily recommend "High Performance: The Culture and Technology of Drag Racing, 1950-1990" by Robert C. Post. Published by the Johns Hopkins University Press (1996). The ISBN for the paperback is 0-8018-5464-4.

I've read this book three or four times and it's still the one I'll take on the plane. Check it out.

I've picke up some nice books on eBay for rather great prices, rounding out my collection. It depends on what you're looking for of course. You can get picture books or more technical books. Books on unique model year features on take on a study of each Corvette generation. Over the last few years, I've talked to authors and here are considered some of the classics plus those I believe will become classics...and I'm not including restoration type books...just general background information. The year is the year of publication.

"Corvette from the Inside" by Dave McClellan, 2002
"All Corvettes are Red" by James Schefter, 1997.
"The Real Corvette" by Ray Miller, 1977...the book that got Noland Adams started
"Corvette: America's Star Spangled Sports Car" by Karl Ludvigsen...lots of these out there!
"Corvette: Portrait of a Legend" by Richard Langworth, 1989
Corvette 1968-1982: Sports Car Color History by Mike Mueller, 2000. Nice C3 for a rainy weekend book.
"Birthplace of Legends: The story of Corvette Production at St Louis" by Peter Licastro, 1993.

Other books to consider are those by Mike Antonick, author of Black Book, Price guide and detail books. For C1-C2 restoration Noland Adams and lots of photos.

Then of course there are some nice C3 restoration books...each targeting a unique niche and don't forget NCRS technical manuals for precise attention to specs by model year.

All Corvettes Are Red is a great book. Very easy read, good entertainment.
