Something New In Chassis Paint?

I was at a friends house helping him the other night and he is finishing up a Killer '59 Studebaker Truck. He had several cans of Dupli-color Spray Bedliner on the bench. I asked was he going to spray his bed inside with it.
He showed me what he had already sprayed. He had used it as a Chassis coat over the POR 15. He painted the parts and then as it tacked he sprayed it with the Bedliner Spray.
This stuff sprays great and it is extremly tough. I followed suit and sprayed the inner fenders and frame rails on my Elky with it and it looks great! It gives a really nice black satin finish that is not as rough as I expected and is very easy to use.
Oh yeah, it's not cheap, about $7 a can here and it does go a long way though.
An even better protectant is the use Gravel Guard in a high impact area. It is twice as much in cost and it does come in black or clear. JIM :smash:
