Are Comp Cams 1.52 roller tips worth it?
Hi All,
I am doing the valve seals on the L-82 and while I am in there messing around I was wondering id the Comp Cams 1.52 roller tip rockers would be worth the $150. My stock arms look beat so at the least I am going to replace them with something. Help

IMO they are a high quality rocker and you can be sure the ratio is accurate...

I agree they are high quality and the ratio is more accurate than stamped steel beyond that the gains are minimal until you get into a full roller :D

I am running them on my car and have had no problems wit hthem. They are very good rockers for your application. They will also fit under the stock valve covers

I agree they are worth it, they will ensure you are getting true 1.5 ratio, chevy stamped can be as bad as 1.39-1.5 with none being the same. :cheers:

I would spend the extra $ and go full roller. I am running 1.6 full rollers under stock covers with double gaskets. You can get single thick gasket but I had 2 sets fo the reg laying around so I used them. BTW Summit brand full rollers ae only $160.
I have a set of Crane roller tip 1.6 rockers and locking nuts you can have for $100.
