SS ORING CALIPERS
:) Has anyone had any problems with SS Oring calipers applying and not releasing causing pad or rotor damage? Bought a new set (4) not rebuilt and heard a rumor about this. Has anyone had these problems? I will not disclose the vendor. Thanks :seeya

The ss sleeved calipers on my car are about 15 years old and have not had a problem ever. Best brakes I have ever had on any of my cars, and they are not much worse than my dad's C5. :cheers:

Zero tolerance I think. They are not racing calipers or anything like that but the terminology in your question was not used in the caliper ad. :seeya

Never heard of any problems, I think someone is referring about another car's problems, but it's not ours.....you fine...
make sure the springs behind the pistons are removed though with the O rings, it's not all that critical...so they say, I"d remove them anyway.....
