72 vert with 2 tops for $2800
this is the deal , this lady is giving me .
But the motors out of the car the interior is out for paint,the door jams already painted
the hard top needs glass iam sure it needs a new top too
4sd 350 no power windows and no tilt wheel
SO is this a good DEAL :lol:

HELL YA! You could part it out for more than that, not that I am saying to do it cuz that would be just plain wrong.
Here's another way of looking at it: How much would it cost to get the car in the condition you'd want it to be? Add that to the initial cost and see how the total compares with a turn-key deal. It seems to me that it would be hard not to come out okay on that comparison.

You are one of the chosen few. You have stumbled upon an awesome deal, this may not ever happen again. The same thing happened to me with an 80. I have sold most of the parts I wouldnt be using and have paid for the initial price of the heap. As mentioned above, add what it will cost to complete and enjoy. :thumbs:

Let's see....go to http://www.sdpc.com and order the Ram Jet 350 PFI Engine for 5k. Then send an e-mail to this guy vetteman904@aol.com and get a pair of 79-82 like new seats delivered for 1k. SO now for less than 9k the car just needs a good paint job and you have an awesome chrome bumper vert :yesnod:

I'm only a couple hours from you, so let me know if you pass on this. I need a parts car, and why not put a vert body on my 71 coupe?
You put the top down on the vert - and only drive it when it's super nice out.
Leave the Ttops on the coupe - and take it out when the weather is questionable.
Good deal BAD99 - and glad to hear that it will be falling into the hands of someone that will seek to restore this legendary sports car. Also glad to hear
that another has willingly crossed from the dark C5 side.

Hmm, you would be a fool to pass it up. Hell, even if it was rusty it would still be a good deal. Go get it. It's been my experience that if you stop to think about it, it will be gone when you get there. RUN FOREST RUN!!!!! :lol:
