Hey you engineering types a dimensioning?
Can you makes sense of the GM assembly manual deminisoning of the place- ment of the L-82 emblems on a 79 hood. GM references a zero line dimension of 4.40 but where are they measuring from and are those Dims in decimal or metric.

Send me a pic of the print and I'll see what I can do. Late 70's, I'd still guess GM was using inches. Metric dims are usually in mm so 4.4 would be peanuts. Heck, the gap between body panels wasn't even that close of a tolerance!
