Battery/Amp Guage
Does anyone know of a way to check an amp/battery guage? I have a 75 corvette and the guage is not working. I have checked the wiring and it seems to be ok. I would like to unhook the guage itself at the dash and check it without taking it out.any help will be gteatly appreciated. Thanks.

To check it would really require a bench check using a known amp load. I would suggest you get an inexpensive amp gauge from Walmart or AutoZone and substitute it in place of the factory one. If it works your questions is answered.
