number decoding on Q-jet, Alternator and Distributor

number decoding on Q-jet, Alternator and Distributor
Hi all,
We looked at a few numbers around the engine of the Red vette in the sig and noticed some parts are original while others aren't. The engine matches the VIN and the Heads are correct for the base 1971 350. However, the Quadrajet has 7041200 FA 1171 on the side (the car is supposed to have a 7041212) and the alternator has 110020x (the last number is faded). Does anyone know on which other GM car these components came from? Also, where would we find the number on the distributor? Thanks in advance for any tips!

The carb is ...71 Chevelle, 402/454 with auto trans. mfg day... 117 day of 1971
