Cool vette! Mackie delivered mine from Ontario to Texas. They took good care of it. Not cheap at about $1600, but they took good care. And right in front of my vette they had a pristine '58 vert that was headed just south of me.
Way Cool   Congrats Paul on getting what I'm sure is a very solid car. Congrats Ed  on selling to someone who is going to take very good care of your baby.
That's whats known as a win win. :hurray:
BTW Ed, got any more hiding in that new garage of yours. ;)
Yep.... that's the dude! And as you noted.... when the tailgate opened they had my vette covered while inside. Pretty neat seeing him start the car and back it out on the ramp up in the air and then let it down to the ground. First class! And I was quite amazed that Mackie never even attempted to bill me for the transportation charges until I recieved the vette.
The downside? It took about 30 days for papers to clear customs. They were apologetic for it and said they were working on it. And... until they have a load going to the states and cars going back to Canada it might delay your shipment. They actually only had 3 cars coming out of Canada on my shipment, but 6 going back in Arizona & California.
It will be here in four hours. In the rain of course. Anyone seen the sun lately?
I will take pics when it arrives. And tell a condensed version of the red tape story that Ed and I have endured in getting funds and a vehicle across the Canada/USA border.
