Figure out whic terminals are the poles for the relay. Apply 12 volts and you should be able to hear it clicking. Call an autoparts store and ask if they have a relay checker.

I beleive there are two in the car. One on your fuse pannel and one behing the glove box I think. The one on the pannel is cheap. Not sure of the other one. Hope this helps.
