One of my finer cheapskate maneuvers was when I tried to re-dye the carpet black. It didn't set real well so I ended up with a really fast MAGIC-MARKER.

I've done the same thing with a Permatex vinyl repair kit. The advantage it has is that it allows you to put the original vinyl texture and color into the repair, but it's basically the same principle. Nice job. :cheers:
