Speeding
Today was a great day for a drive. I live in Marion Iowa and ran up to Dubuque which is about 75 miles away. On the way back got pulled over for doing 74 in a 65. Was very pleasant to the policeman, what else can you do when you are in the wrong? He runs my lisence and comes back to my car. Lets me go with a warning. His last comment was "You have a very nice car sir" You have to love a C3!

74 in a 65! I guess I have been living in New Jersey too long. I was surprised that you got pulled over at that speed. On my daily commute, I set cruise at 70 and generally stay well clear of the "fast" lane.

I don't speed very often.
Good story though. I seem to be pretty lucky with the boys in blue as well.

Good attitude. I am always pleasant myself and if anything gets you off with a warning that attitude is the answer.
Be nice, mean it, don't argue and be ready to take anything he gives you . How can anyone be unpleasant to someone who in turn is being nice?

That's beautyfully country up there, guessing at that speed you were driving you were on highway 20 or 61. Used to have to go up to Guttenberg and would pass through that area.

wow....pulled over for 9 over.....kinda sounds like me.....i go to a city ive never been to and get pulled over while im waiting at a red light......people tend to think we always race....but u gotta love the compliment at the end.....that has happened to me when i first got my c3 and didnt have a tag.....cops pulled a gun out on me cause they thought i stole it....o well....since then that cop has been real cool guy
