Thanks bluevetteman. I'm not wanting to do this. I'm trying to track down a vibration problem with my engine.
So there's no way that a 350 crank could be "keyed" 180 degrees out from a 400 and thereby partially offsetting the ballance of the ballencer and flywheel?

The 400 parts are interchangable except they are out of balance. I don't know about the keyway. I would still be out of balance .. What kind of vibration do you have?? Maybe with all of this knowledge on the forum someone will have the answer.

I was tracking down a vibration in the truck last month. Turned out to be the motor mounts. I used SS hardware on the mount when doing the rebuild but the bolts were too long. I thought I could get away with using some washers as spacers...guess I was wrong. The bolts are too close to the frame now and vibrate when idling. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
