Default C3 Replacement O Rings for brake calipers.

I understand that by replacing the original lip seal design seals with replacement O rings will solve my brake problems. Does anyone know where to order these O rings. Thanks!!!!

I don't know if it will solve all your problems but it should solve most of them. I just put O-ring pistons in the front of my car. I got them from Vette Brake Products. Cost was $27.95 per wheel (+ shipping). I did not put my springs back in when replacing the pistons. The O-ring pistons will only work on sleeved calipers so make sure yours are sleeved or you'll be buying new calipers too. It's not a difficult job to do except for getting all the #%^!@ air out of the lines once you get it all put back together. Make sure you lubricate everything (all o-rings and sleeves) with clean brake fluid when you put it all back together. Good luck and good stopping!

LA,
Why is it you think o-ring pistons only work with sleeved calipers?? Mike at Zero Tolerance prefers NON sleeved calipers as the bore for the sleeve is never centered to the existing hole requiring ZTI users to grind the bottom of the original bores. ...redvetracr

Well, most non sleeved calipers that I have seen have pitting in the bores. If you have a clean set then they should work fine.

Well, I guess my ignorance shone through on that one! I was under the impression that you needed sleeved calipers for the o-rings to work right. My bad. You learn something new everyday. I would tend to agree with Pat that if the original calipers are pitted badly, then neither o-ring or lip seal would work very well. Thanks for the info redvetracr.

PS I tried to get information on the Zero Tolerance pistons (before I ordered from VBP) but their 800-number was out of order and no one answered my emails. Are they still in business?

LA, I believe Mike (ZTI) is or was in the process of moving to (I think) Virginia
the number is/was 800 725 5141 and yes there is an answering machine and (as I remember) it took him a few days to return the call.
