Just picked up my first Vette!
I finally got a corvette! As most of you guys I've wanted one since I was around 10 years old. I ended up picking up a 1980 corvette last night. It's in really good shape. The previous owner had new paint, carpet, wheels, and tires installed on it. The interior was redone as well. The previous owner has done a fantastic job of taking care of it. My wife and I are really excited to have it. I can't wait to get off of work to transfer the title and get the plates. I even got a bunch of original and spare parts. This forum is excellent. I'm sure I'll be reading it daily.

Welcome, I also just picked up an '80 Vette about a month and a half ago. Aren't they just awesome? My wife doesn't get it like your wife apparently does. Oh, well that means I don't have to share it with her!
