Demon Electric Choke Issue
I bought a Demon 650 with an electric choke from Summit in February and have been trying to figure it out since then. Finally I figured I'd call and ask them WTF. The guy tells me "oh, we never sent you anything on that?" Apparently they got a batch of these carbs that all had bad electric chokes. Needless to say they are sending me a replacement free of charge!
Now my real question...is it a buggar to R/R an elec choke?

What exactly was it doing? i have also recently purchased a speed demon 650 VC and am curious what you experienced? My electric choke appears to work but i have been leaning out the choke to have it kick off a little sooner.

It was working VERY intermittently and the high idle was waaay too high and I couldn't bring it down. SOmetimes when I wouls start the car cold it would not choke then after I had been running it for a while I would turn it off for five minutes then start it and it would choke. Just strange behavior.
