floorpan heat shields
Didn't C3s come with sheet metal heat shields riveted to the bottom of the floorpans. I believe there was also insulation added between these shields and the floorpan. My car appears to have the mounting tabs for the shields. Can you buy these anywhere? Regards, Tom

Not sure what year car you have, but my '69 has white plastic firewall shields and sheet metal underbody floorpan sheilds. They are mounted to flat metal "tabs" that are riveted to the underbody. The upper mount of the firewall shields is a pair of threaded studs on the firewall. There is foil faced fiberglass insulation that is sandwiched between the floorpans/firewall and the shields. I am pretty sure that Doctor Rebuild carries the heat shields.
