You can find a stock Vortec manifold, maybe off of a truck or something. Edelbrock Performer for Vortec should fit with a drop base air cleaner. There are also vortec style TPI manifolds if you want to add fuel injection.
I think the only carb manifolds for vortecs are the Performer and Performer RPM air gap. I don't know if they are different heights than the non-vortec versions. I understand that the standard Performer fits under the hood with the stock air cleaner assembly. I hope the performer vortec fits, as that is what I am planning on using on my 73. Joe

Any stock vortec manifold will be made for stock FI, and will not work with your carb. the performer vortec should work. You might also check GM's performance catalogue. They may have a low profile manifol for the vortec heads.
