I posted this in Drag Racing and thought I'd toss it out here, too.
Neither Lakewood nor Competition Engineering offers drag shocks for the back end of a C3. I'm leaning toward the CEs for the front because they're adjustible. What are the C3 folks doing with the rears? Seems like a typical auto parts store stock-type 50/50 (or stiffer) OEM replacement could take a lot of bite out of the car, even with the fronts adjusted to 90/10.
Oh, no.
It's not a street car anymore. I live in California, you see, and the good folks in Sacramento--our state capitol--have suggested that I no longer operate this vehicle on government roads.
have you looked at koni? I'm pretty sure they had a drag shock for the C3 (drag shocks from them are all labelled SPA1 behind part #) but it could very well be that they replaced them all w/ the high dollar 8112, 8212 8211, 8216 and other series coil overs (SPA1) or even those higher dollar electronically adjustable ones (they're coil overs too)
The #'s for the non coil over ones were 80-1820SPA1 (front) and 80-1576SPA1 (rear)
