Transmission question
Is there any reason why a T-5 Borg Warner transmission from an 82-92 V8 Camaro will not fit into an 82 Corvette? Is a V6 T5 the same transmission? Has anybody done it? Does the T-5 use a hydraulic clutch? I have put a Muncie into an automatic C-3 so I know that the task is not going to be real easy. It seems to me that it does not make sense to take out the 700R4 without putting in something else with an overdrive just so one can shift gears. Help!
