My car finally came back from the paint shop. It took them a lot of tries, but it looks awesome now :D

I'm just curious, but can you explain the exhaust? I saw that on some street rods and don't know the reasoning.

That looks like "Super Traps" mufflers you can adjust backpressure via exhaust plates.

Thanks guys.

The paint shop is Orlandi's in San Rafael, CA, and I would not recommend them. Although its great now, it took them 4 repaints and 9 months. I don't know the cost because the insurance paid for it after I hit a deer. That was right before I moved to PA, which is why the work was done in CA (and probably why they put so little priority on it :mad).

Yeah, the mufflers are supertrapps. They're usually on motorcycles, but are made for cars also. They usually have no obvious exhaust hole. The air comes out from the sides through a bunch of disks which you can change to modify exhaust note and backpressure. I thought it looked odd like that, so I got covers with a hole in middle (disks are still there). They're basically straight pipes with some geometrical tricks to cancel some of the sound.

And yes, those are 84 wheels.
