Looking For Chrome Or Polished AC Compressor Cover
I have found one for 77-87, but need one that will fit on a 72. :confused:

I've never seen one for the A6 compressors. The only thing I've seen are the chromed compressors. You could try to have one made out of stainless but the trouble area is the area that is raised for the studs. If they weren't there you could just cover it with stainless or polished aluminum. I've thought of doing this but haven't given it a try yet. I'm not sure it would look good with the cutouts. Good luck in your search.

i accidently sprayed wheel acid on my compressor while claning under the hood after engine instal.i think the acid sat for about five minutes,when i hosed it off it had taken the plastic coating of the compressor.i then polished it up with mothers aluminum polish and you can see in my sig. how it turned out.i dont know if my compressor is the same as your though.

OHSIXX, I swear I saw a cover for the A6 at one of these

I know I got mine from Ecklers but that's the radial R4 style
If all else fails Mid-America is showing
a whole chrome compressor for $349.99 PN 609-333 for 63-77
