I have three messages from Ecklers telling me these things go on in less than 5 minutes without removing the hood. I don't see how. :confused:

:skep: Sorry but I have heard all of that :bs before on past cars. "OH you can do blah blah blah in less than 10 minutes without removing this or that" 2 hours and 10 stiches later you have broken the new part, mangled the old part and your kids are sitting in the corner chewing on their hair crying because they think you turned into the boogyman.

They really ARE a piece of cake to put on!! Mine had double sided sticky tape that held them in place. Just be careful when you put them on. Once they stick, you will NOT be able to reposition them. Also, make sure the old actuators are perfectly clean where the tape adheres to. The other secret to doing this installation is that you do it with two people. One person puts the cover just about in position from underneath with the hood closed, then the second person CAREFULLY opens the hood and guides the cover the rest of the way on.
