Default Q-Jet secondaries not working... Any thoughts?

I was hoping to have my engine done last night, but it failed the Dyno test :mad

The engine runs great until the secondaries open. There doesn't seem to be any gas flowing through. If you leave the throttle open long enough evntually gas will start flowing and it will make power.

The first run was 236 pounds of torque! The Owner of the machine shop knew right away something was wrong. After a while he realized what was happening and got a few succesful runs, and it made 540 pounds.

He called the carb shop several times and couldn't figure out the problem. The carb shop is an hour and a half away so I'll need to ship it to him to be redone.

I'm think I should have got Holly!

Any ideas of what could be wrong?

Thanks,
~Jay

Lars needs to see this one. :yesnod:
I've been successfully messing a great deal with my Qjet, but one problem I had either the secondary airvalve would stick or open way too soon. Sorry, don't know what would cause your gas delay.
