We had an instructive thread on cruise control a while back and I have to report that my 78 cruise control came alive during the Nashville trip. It performed flawlessly between 70-75 and was great.
After our last thread, I used the tips to dial in the cruise control but found that lower speeds...much fluctuation. In fact I thought I would have to replace the unit.
But I learned it performs best at higher speeds. What's the technical explanation for this difference in operation?
Yup, mine is not functioning right now...going to need to get a tutorial on how to go about trouble shooting this little gadget. So much work and so little time... ;)
