Default Heating Problem SOLVED

Thanks for all the information that was given. I wish that I could say that I found the problem through my great mechanical ability. But, the truth is that just because the hose on the expansion tank is attached does not mean that the tip has been bored through. The problem was back pressure on the expansion tank. I pulled the overflow off and low and behold it did not have a hole in the plastic fitting. If any one knows of a village that needs an idiot, I am for hire.

Good work on tracing down the Bubba'd hose! :hurray:

the old expansion tank trick! I fell for it in a similar way. Bubba installed an aftermarket tank.(My first Vette, didn't know it wasn't stock). I thought the hose was connected at the bottom of the tank. There IS no connection at the bottom of the tank. I traced the hose to the bottom of the car! Not even connected to the TANK! :banghead:
