header to sidepipe connection help plz
I saw a post a couple of weeks ago with a pic of how someone had installed connector pipes from regular headers to the sidepipes. Its a little weird looking cause the connector pipes were actually u or s shaped. Searched, but can't find the post/pic again.
Does anyone remember, or can point me in the right direction. I would really appreciate it. I ordered the Patriot pipes from Summitt to take a look, I would like to install on the frame this weekend but I could use the pic to help the exhaust shop in bending pipes to connect the headers. Thanks.

Keith,
I think you e-mailed me at my account regarding this - here is the image i sent a link to.
All mandrel bends from Summit or Jegs (I forget which) - welded up by a friend - they are 2 1/2" amdrel sections with reducers at the headers and at the inlet to the factory sidepipe muffler.

I was finalizing on the Hedmans - too. They are about the same as a set of
Hookers, and they make the installation easier. My pipes will be all custom - not stock, though.
