Default RARE 32nd Anniversary Edition Corvette!!!!!

With all the automotive celebrations this year....Harley, Ford, and most importantly Corvette, I thought it would be fitting to add another to the list....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY CORVETTE (since my Vette was built in early July)

.......the motor is poked, the interior is shabby and I'm sure that sometime over the last 32 years it's been bent a few times, but I still really like it........

WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD BUY IT FOR IT'S BIRTHDAY??????

I've got a set of Boyd Coddington Smoothies off my late model which are pretty close to TT2's....I've tried them but they don't fit ........Rally wheels will have to do for now, too many other things to fix.....

Sure does.....Verts are the best and white Verts are even better!!!! The valve covers are a replica Motion Performance or aftermarket cover that was common in the late '60's--mid '70's......mine are second hand and have been recoated with Jet Hot.......better if you buy new 'cause the PCV hole on mine has been drilled too big and the twist on oil cap doesn't fit either......I've had to Bubbize it to stop the vacuum leaks.......

Noah Performance have these covers for sale brand new......this guy is not too great with service but he's got excellent parts....do a search for their website.....

I know the covers aren't correct for my car.......but they're correct for the "era".....Motion Performance offered them for sale in their ads in the Hot Rod mags well into the mid '70's.....and I think that's pretty cool  .........

I thought you boys down under had to convert your cars to right hand drive? Is that a law or can you drive left hand drive cars down there??? Just Wondering. Nice car!!! Very good year.

Cars my age are sweet.....It's only if it's 10 years old or newer.....and the law is designed to limit the number of new left hand drives being sold here by dealers....e.g. Dodge Rams, which are very popular here, but aren't manufactured as right hand drives.

If someone imports say, a 2000 Vette for personal use, they can keep it left hand drive.....but if they sell it before it's 10 years old, they either have to convert it or the buyer has to convert it......but there are legal ways around that rule......

A Vette is perfect for driving on the left side, 'cause its compact.....I can easily peer over the passenger fender to see the centreline.....but a Caddy, big Pontiac or a Chevelle is a different story.........although we have a lot of ***** out Kiwis who like that challenge.......

Thanks for the compliments on my car.....a lot of work needs to be done though.....what do you think about a ZZ4 for a birthday present????

Not a Chevrolet, but my dad's '63 Studebaker Avanti was built July 5, 1962; her 41st is around the corner. She may not be a :chevy but the distributor is in the back of the engine, does that count?
My Vette was a late '69 Baby. Late as in November of '69.
