Beat bya monte
It was a great day until........... the monte. A stock 3.4 made me its b#$%h. so on that note my parts came in. brute thunder coil,3.9 gears,dual fans,hawk carbon pads,kyb shocks,heater core,3" straight stainless steel pipes,aluminum pully system,hi flow water pump, and of course a cam and lifter kit........................may this never happen again. wish me luck. Have a great day folks. and thanks again for all the great advice it is appreciated. :cheers: .........ohh yea new bf goodrich tires and the monte is my WIFES!!!!!!!!!!!!

What year/motor are you running?? Take the spare tire carrier out, that made my car faster :skep:

If it was a '03 Monte SS then it had the 240hp supercharged 3.8 out of the Grand Prix GTP. For $250 you can get a smaller pulley and up the boost and get 300hp at the crank.
No big deal, that just means you need to start modding. :D

If it makes you feel any better one night my friend and i raced out cars . I won but in the first half he had a huge lead. He was in his 98 jeep wrangler w/ the 6 cyc and intake system, 5 speed, and 35" tires. I was in my 76 L48 and the secondaries werent working. I also have the turbo 350 and 3.08 rear. Therefore my car has no low end and his is all low end. Off of the line he just flew out and I had no chance. He was actually able to pull the front wheels about 3 inches off the ground when he went for 2nd, at about 20 mph. Well once my vette hit into 2nd at 50 mph, she just took off. I passed him when he was going 40, I was going about 75-80. Hehe. He still calls it a win for him but is scared to race now i got a new carb and said he would retire with his win. But i call it my win cause i didi pass him at an extreme speed. A tone point i was a good 20 cars lengeths behoind him, i was scared.

Oh my God Gazoo!!! My sister beat you in the MC?!? I completelyy understand the Need-4-Speed! That is quite the parts list you have, too.
