Where is the best place to get a continuous 12V electrical supply under the hood?
I believe 12V is available at the horn relay, but wondering if there is a better place.
I am installing an under the hood light in my 73 and need an electrical supply. I dislike looking into the dark engine compartment at night time so I will eliminate it on my 73 just like I have on my other vehicles.

How about running a wire up from your starter? Power all the time. It avoids another splice (i.e. future problem) too...
:iagree: , The battery cable comes right the starter. You have plenty of room on the post to add a connection. Be sure to use an in-line fuse. I have my elelctric fan connected there, works fine.
