Hi all. Anyone near Pittsburgh interested in trading help. I need help rebuilding my front suspension. I have a kit from P-S-T and would like some experienced in guiding me through it. I think I can make it through but would like someone to keep an eye on me (remind me to tell you the one about the leaking front calipers and you'll know why I want another set of eyes on it.). I could take it to the shop but I've tried to do all of the work on this car myself before I bail out and get professional help.
I'm willing to trade manual labor on a similar Vette project or computer assistance (work on a web application development team).
If anyone is interested in an exchange, let me know. I'd be appreciative for the help.
Sam, I wish I had some, let alone more experience, so I could help you. I have my father-in-law to help me sometimes, or for the more major things, it goes to a shop. LOL Pat
Thanks anyway. I haven't gotten much interest in my offer, so now I'm trying to decide if I want to pull it apart myself or just take it straight to the garage. I'd pull it apart but this car has alot of rust so every nut and bolt is chore. I should have bought stock in the company that makes PB Blaster when I bought the Vette, it might offset the money I spend on that stuff.
I just put the same in my 78, not real hard but, I took the upper a-arms to a shop to have them do those bushings. Well worth the money there. Just take your time with the rest and you should not have a problem.
