You would need to find a computer and wiring harness from an auto car to get the 4L60E to shift.
If you are serious about a supercharger, go with the vette pulleys. The vette blower kits look like they would fit better than the F-body kits. There is plenty of room for the intercooler in front of the radiator. You would have to do some custom plumbing, but it would be worth it. I am seriously considering the Magnacharger for mine, but that won't be for a while after I do a lot of research.
Won't actual be a LT1, only look like one except for the dist sticking out of it the intake. That gives it a little more 'cache' than the stock LT1 maybe like George's baby name of '7' on Seinfeld.
"Oh it's got cache baby! It's got cache out the ying-yang!"
Bob- Why will the stock AC location not work? If it's a matter of hoses, that does not concrn me. If it doesn't physically fit, that's another story.
Definately more than just hoses. The lower control arm is in the way bigtime. I think I'll have to get custom hoses anyways for the sanden 508 compressor which works with the S&P brackets. The stock compressor has the wrong type of pully to work on the main belt system. if you were going the c5/custom bracket route you might be able to come up with a different pully for the stock compressor to make it work and still be able to use the stock a/c hoses.
