Default Where does this go?

I just put in a new vacuum system and it works beautifully. But where does this go? I doesnt tell in the diagram. My guess is that it is for the earlier models that had the wiper door. Or does it go to somewhere else?

I would GUESS that would be the hose for the wiper door, but I dunno why they would put it on a later model without said door

Two lines go into the cabin, to the heater control box and headlight switch, and one comes out to the headlights themselves from the switch. Hard to tell from that pic which it is. I might still have my vac diagram that came with replacement hose kit laying around if you need it.

 I looked in my '77 AIM and didn't see anything similar, then I went out to the car and I don't have any vacuum lines coming out of there. If I'm seeing your pic correctly, it looks like a tube is coming out from above/behind the power booster. Mine is smooth there.

I believe Fevre hit it on the head. On my 70, it goes to the heater controls. This operates the doors for the ventilation.

I should add that the headlight switch line goes into the bypass somehow, it has been a while so I don't remember the exact routing but seems it goes to the bypass and then to the headlight switch. Did you try pinching the line off and see if your headlights open? I bought a brand new switch and had it working perfectly until I put the interior all back in then teh damn thing wouldnnt work. :mad Now I have to reach under the dash to my broken bypass switch and use both hands to open it so the lights come up. I mounted a switch for my fans in the old spot the bypass used to be in.
