What was the HP rating? Cam specs? Compression? Aluminum intake?Any help would be greatly appreciated. :confused:

Thanks Tom. I have a co worker who wants me to build up his L82 and wanted to get an idea on what he already had. Not questioning your knowledge but are L82's really equipped with 222dur @.050? That's probably the biggest cam I've heard of in any stock small block including LS1's. That's almost enough duration to make 375hp. I guess the heads and comp aren't up to par along with maybe the lobe design when compared to todays standards. Thank again Tom.

Are those cam specs the same for a 1975 L-82? Also what kind of pistons are in L-82s, (are they Flat-tops or dished)?
