I just did a bunch of upgrades (listed below) to the 74 Vette. Can someone run this combo on desktop dyno for me please? I am taking the car to a chassis dyno in August, but would like to find out what to expect before going in. This would be a good comparison to see if those software actually are close.
Intake/exhuast valve size for L-48 heads?
CFM of 4 BBL Q-jet? I was assuming 800.
Comp Cam HE260H does not exist in files? Are the cam specs in the software at seat-to-seat or at 0.050?
My timing is set at 8*, however with this I get 254hp but with -8* I get 283hp?
wasn't the original q-jet 650 cfm, mine came with a Holley 650 mech dp - I could be wrong on the q-jet but I cannot see an base sb with anything over a 650

This is what I used for inputs:
350 cu in.
"462" heads w/ 2.02/1.60 valves
8.5 compression
600 cfm 4 barrell
dual plane intake
small tube mufflers with open exhaust
Comp 260H cam, with Seat-to-Seat Timing from thier website.
Do you know the actual casting number of the cylinder heads and the valve size?
I think your heads are casting number 882 ( http://www.engineslimited.com/head.htm ), which do have 1.94/1.50 valves. Plugging that into DD2000 with 750 carb, dual plane intake, small header open exhaust (as if the engine was on a dyno):
392# TQ from 2000-3500 RPM - FLAT
306 HP @ 4500 RPM
Switching to "large tube" decrease the torque but increases the HP, which is what you would except.
BTW, the vette in my sig looks better from 10 feet away! The paint & top are 30 years old and shows!
