Bilstein Sports: Great handling + pretty smooth ride!

People apparently like the Bilsteins, but then, have they tried the other types to have an honest comparison? I think a few others have and would wait for their input before deciding. I went the more expensive adjustable shock route so I am not a help.

My judgement was based on a comparison between the KYB GR2s and the Bilstein Sports. Handling was similar(edge on bilsteins) and the Bilsteins rode much better than the GR2s.

Edelbrock IAS, they perform exactly as advertised. I like them so much on the 72, I also put them on the 95 last winter.

My comparison between KYB's and BIlstein is that the Bisteins hold the road and corner much better and a much smoother ride too. Now compared to other high end shocks I can't answer but they were worth evey cent to me :D

I replaced Monroe 's & Delco's with Bilsteins this past year on both the vette and one of our other cars - Bilstein hands down favourite for me.

I have a set of KYB gas-a-justs and really like them. Couldn't afford the Bilstiens at the time.

The reason Bilsteins are so much better is because of the digresive valves that they have inside of them. They react to the roads bumps, turns, pot holes etc much faster than any other shock. I have them if you want them.
