I like the looks of your sidepipes and wheels. I did my wheels a few years ago with red also. When I bought the car 7 years ago I took the black paint off
rockers and painted the slots red. If your pipes ain't hooked up yet and some
people don't like it cause they are fake! too bad. It's your car and and my thoughts as owners we can do anything thats possible to our own car legal or
illegal if we can get away with it. If it's cool with you thats enough. Steve

When I bought my 76, it had those on it... for about a week.

IMHO I think the Only great thing about side-pipes is the Look. My buddie had 67 427/435 (black) with chrome side-pipes and they looked Sweet. Kinda loud with the exhaust dumping behind the doors & would get Very warm. Definitely do Not need or appreciate a Sound system because w/that set-up the engine is music to my ears.
