I guess you could consider me new to the Corvette club. I have loved Ford Mustangs for years now. My old man has a 1965 convertible and I have a 1995 GT that I play around with, but I have always had a love for Corvettes. With that in mind, I will be selling my '95 GT for a down payment on a new house to be built with a three car garage, that I hope to have populated with a 1968-1972 Corvette in the next year. So I just wanted to introduce myself and I want to soak up as much knowledge from all of you that I can, so when I find my dream vette, I'll be ready to purchase it.
Welcome. There is a great amount of knowledge and experience here. Take every advantage. Learn to use the search feature here because there is a wealth of information in the archives. Just FYI Corvette owners wave to each other while on the road (most of them anyway) so if you see a Vette, any year, give a big ol'e :seeya I guess Mustang guys do that????
Welcome to the forum. If you have questions this is definatly the right place to be. Good luck finding a vette. A good place to start would be http://www.vettefinders.com :seeya

Re: New to the Corvette hobby (75Rag)
3 car garage ..... definitely on the "must have" list for the next house.
Oh yeah.... welcome.. :seeya
3 car garage is a must. Especially with an older vette. Makes it nice when you have to tinker with them. Welcome to the corvette forum. The best place on the net to learn and discuss anything corvette related. This place is addictive, at least for me it is. You will enjoy your time here.
Also a hardy welcome from Texas! When you start looking if you can find a good candidate out of a state like Arizona you might save yourself alot of pains down the road. Not much rust!
Welcome! :seeya
Good move hanging around here first. You'll see threads about stuff that typically goes wrong with the cars you're interested in buying and know what to look for when you buy one. :D
