Default Electronic Ignition

I'd like to ditch the points in my 68 327/300 SB. I want to maintain the stock look. Heard of electronic conversion kits that fit right into stock distributor. Can anyone recommend an electronic conversion kit and a good source (I'm in NE Florida)?

I've been using the Pertroics Ignitor for 6 years trouble free. I've heard good things about the new Crane XR-i unit. They're both around $70-$80 in the Summit catalog.

:iagree: Either one will work OK and get rid of the points.

Thanks to all for the quick response. First time use of the forum and it was great. Ordered part from Summit as you advised and looking forward to getting it in the car.

If you ordered the Pertronix make sure you check the distributor for play. Here's a link to 4 reviews on the Pertronix. Read the one that I wrote and it will explain the installation. Good luck. https://www.corvetteforum.com/review...=221&TopicID=2
