And if adding remote solenoids makes you feel good then do it as it probably won't hurt much but helping the mounted solenoid that does all the work requires an effective heat shield. Now a lighter spring sounds good too but haven't tried one myself and couldn't verify this. Clean contacts are always good idea anywhere to minimize electrical problems. ;)
I'll wager every Ford NASCAR team really is running a remote solenoid (because of thier design) but the "I know or someone I know says all Chevy NASCAR teams use it." statement I can't support. If someone could explain technically how the stater mounted solenoid works any better wired in series behind a remote solenoid please do so. :seeya
