Didn't need the Precision calipers after all
--- but I put them on any way. Went very easy -- found one bubba-ism --- a PO (pervious owner) had stripped the hex off of the metal brake line that attaches to the new hose I installed ------nothing replacing that piece of brake line won't cure. I'll have the brake lines opened up again to do the rear calipers soon.
As for this mini-project --- brakes feel better than ever. The stock calipers showed NO sign of any leakage. I did find a leaky power steering hose.
I've been doing some work on my '72 Blazer even sprayed a little yellow paint on it -- and am now ready to do some work on the "nothing fancy '77".
Looks like selling off my big block '67 elCamino might be necessary to expedite the Vette work -- since I'm thinking it time for some new paint.
