82 check engine light
How do you reset the check engine light in a 82 C/E. We replaced the A.I.R. pump and when we check the trouble codes all the ashows in a code 12 (normal , no problems?). How do you get the light to go out?

Is the ;ight on with the engine running?? You can reset the ecm by unhooking the battery for 30 seconds

:iagree: dis-connect the battery to reset and erase the trouble codes. Just make sure the ignition is not turned on when you dis-connect. If it is in the on position when you unhook the bat it will give the putor a labotomy.
